Hi, I'm Julián
About Me
Hello, I’m Julian Miranda. I hold a B.S and M.S in Mathematics, specializing in mathematical modeling. My research on magnetohydrodynamic flow simulations, supported by a National Science Foundation grant, showcases my expertise in programming languages like Python, C++, and MATLAB. I optimized simulations, reduced time complexity, and implemented random forest techniques, achieving a 4.75% error rate.
My academic achievements include an undergraduate major GPA of 4.0 and a graduate GPA of 3.8. Since graduating, I have utilized ML algorithms for a number of applications such as disease classification, forecasting residential property values, conducting sentiment analysis on COVID-19 data, predicting heating and cooling loads in residential buildings, and more.

"He is very ingenious, passionate about research, extremely hardworking, and an excellent team player ... He is very skillful in computer coding and a quick learner, he took control of my finite element coding of uncertainty quantification in a short period of time. He has a strong interest in research and is knowledgeable about various machine-learning techniques."
"Mr. Miranda is in the top 1% of all students I have ever taught at TAMIU. He has very solid background in mathematics. Moreover, I found that Mr. Miranda is an intelligent and self-motivated learner. His performance is always beyond my expectation."
